Phil Davidson Named CSBA Board Chair; Anita Antenucci Named Vice Chair
The Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments is pleased to announce the selection of Phil Davidson as its new Board Chair, and Anita Antenucci as Board Vice Chair.
Davidson succeeds Barbara Humpton, who made the careful decision to step down after seven years of service as Board Chair. Under her leadership, CSBA drove conversations on the innovative operational concepts, organizations, and capabilities that the United States and its allies need to deter, and if necessary fight and win, in an increasing challenging strategic environment.
CSBA President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Thomas G. Mahnken thanked Barbara Humpton for her service. As he put it, “Barbara has been a trusted source of thoughtful advice for me, and for CSBA. We are all thankful for her service.”
Mahnken also announced the selection of Phil Davidson as Board Chair and Anita Antenucci as Board Vice Chair. In his words, “I am excited to have Phil Davidson take the helm of CSBA’s Board. His experience and insights will help us navigate an increasingly challenging strategic environment.” Davidson retired from the U.S. Navy following a highly distinguished 40-year military career, which culminated in his service as the 25th Commander of United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) from May 2018 through April 2021. At the time of his retirement, he was the longest-serving surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy. He has served on CSBA’s Board of Directors of CSBA for the past four years.
Anita Antenucci, who has served on CSBA’s Board for nearly eight years, will assume the role of Board Vice Chair. Anita is the Founder and Managing Partner of 3Wire Partners and has deep experience in investment banking, including mergers and acquisitions, financing and valuation. As Mahnken put it, “I am pleased that Anita had agreed to serve as Board Vice Chair. Her knowledge of finance and the emerging defense technology sector will help CSBA navigate the changing defense industrial base.”
