CSBA announces changes to the Board with New Chairperson and New Member Appointment

Washington D.C., 1 March 2019 -- CSBA announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Barbara Humpton as its Chair.   She currently serves as CEO of Siemens USA.  She previously served as President and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies and as Vice President of Booz|Allen|Hamilton.

Humpton replaces the Honorable Nelson M. Ford as Board Chair.  Ford, who served as Chair since December 2011, is the former President and CEO of LMI.  He previously served as Under Secretary of the Army.

In addition to the appointment of a new Chair, CSBA announced the addition of a new member of the CSBA Board, Ms. Anita Antenucci. Antenucci is a Senior Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey and leads its Aerospace, Defense, and Government practice in Washington, D.C.

Ford said, “Barbara’s contributions to the Board have been outstanding and we know that CSBA will be well served by her clear insight, long experience in Washington, and stellar reputation for leadership.  With Anita’s appointment and under Barbara’s leadership, we are well positioned to continue our legacy of providing relevant, timely, and impartial analyses to senior decision makers in national security and defense policy.”

Humpton added, “I am pleased Nelson has agreed to remain on the Board as he brings invaluable experience that we can call upon as we continue as the world’s premier center for understanding future international competition and conflict.  We have a strong Board and Management Team in place to spur action to advance U.S. and allied interests.”
