John Steinmeyer

Intern

John Steinmeyer is an intern at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. He holds a master’s in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) concentrating on strategic and security studies with a regional focus on the Middle East. He is a graduate of the Bologna Center and currently a teaching assistant at SAIS.

Prior to joining CSBA, Mr. Steinmeyer worked as a high school A.P. U.S. History teacher in rural northeast Florida.

Mr. Steinmeyer holds a bachelor’s in history and political science from the University of Florida and has studied Arabic, German, and Italian. He previously interned with the U.S. Department of State at Embassy Berlin.
