Billy Fabian

Research Fellow

Billy Fabian is a Research Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. His research focuses on military strategy and operations, future warfighting concepts, and land warfare.

Prior to joining CSBA, Billy worked as Senior Strategic Analyst in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy and Force Development, where he assisted in the development of the 2018 National Defense Strategy. He has also served as Strategic Planner in the U.S. Army’s Office of Strategy, Plans, and Policy in the Pentagon, and as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Center for Army Analysis on Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Billy served as an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army from 2003-2009.
